Kate Middleton's Wedding Dress Will Influence Bridal Fashion?

Wedding and event planner Brian Worley shares his thoughts on the royal wedding and how he thinks Kate and Pippa Middleton will inspire bridal fashions:

Like billions of people, I watched the fairy-tale royal wedding, and as a wedding planner, the first thing that impressed me was how everything ran on time and like clockwork. That rarely happens! In fact, I usually plan on a wedding to start at least 15 minutes late. So for those of us who were up until the wee hours of the night (or early hours of the morning), the royals didn't tease us.

From an outsider's view, it was flawless. The guests arrived on time and in an orderly fashion. And I loved that some of them chose to really push the fashion envelope -- with outrageous hats (or fascinators as they call them across the pond) and bright colors. Even the men stepped up the style with medals, bold ties and plaid slacks, looking put together and far from the stogy persona usually associated with the Brits!
